RE: notch suspension
Control arms, springs, shocks and struts. If you're talking about straight line performance, go with some Eibach drag springs or Moroso Trick springs. 90/10 struts with 50/50 shocks is a good setup, but go adjustable if you have the $$$. As for control arms, anything is better than stock. For best performance, get adjustable units, or atleast adjustable uppers. That will allow you to set your pinion angle. Also, remove the front sway bar to aid in some weight transfer.

Seeing that you have got a big stall, power, and (soon to have) 4.10s I'm guessing that your traction issues are just as bad as mine, but then again I'm unsure of what tires you're running, I'm going to assume a street slick since you've got Welds. I've also got a big stall, a decent amount of power, and 3.90s and I'm a mile high and my traction is still just horrible and non-existant in first gear, I can't imagine what it'd be like at sea level, but then again I'm running some 235/55/16 Yoko's in the rear that aren't very sticky lol. From what I've heard you can't go wrong with a good set of upper and lower rear control arms (they eliminate wheel hop and aid in traction), Drag Springs for the front and rear (help with planting the rear end resulting in more traction), and a good set of drag shocks and struts (depending on what your budget allows you can go with adjustables or non-adjustables, I'm undecided on these since they are so close in price) the shocks and struts will also help plant the *** of your car also resulting in even more traction. I'm sure that if you did the control arms, springs, and shocks/struts you could see anywhere from a 4/10ths drop to a full second drop, but don't quote me on that, I don't have the experience to back it up, I'm just going off of what I've seen and read. This can only happen though witha good tire. What kind of tires are you running on the rear? Can you make a post of your best time slip?
