Default Best Place In Firewall To Run Wire

Im running a wire for my fan switch, where is fastest location to run the wire through.

Below the master cylinder...directly behind block...if that makes sense. There is a little peice of rubber down there that you can puncture a hole into or make a large one. Thats what I used to route my wire for my electric fan control switch.

i used odd ball grommets at the firewall and ran it through that way,and same as said above...kinda makes it cleaner looking
