car stalls after 45 sec
Hey guys I need some help. I have a strange problem. I have a 67 that i put a 87 HO EFI into. I rebuilt the 302, and placed a set of E7TE heads from a 89 or 90 302 onto my 87. I ported the heads and had a valce job and new springs put on, they were also milled .02. I have also swaped from SD to MAF and I installed a mild cam. and i have an A3M ECM.
Now here is the problem. The car will run for 30 - 45 seconds the it will die and not start for 15 min or so. also the passangers side header get so hot you can not touch it but the drivers side is just warm. what could cause this.
please help i am ready to pull my hair out over this

RE: need help!!!
Don't know about the beginning stuff but I think the reason one header gets hotter is because maybe one bank of cylinders is running richer than the other. Could be the fuel rail or injectors on that side or maybe the other side is clogged up. Thats the only way I can explain the heat.

RE: car stalls after 45 sec
Thanks for the input. I will check the compression tomorrow. I did check the fuel pressure and it was at 40 pounds of pressure, but i have not had a chance to check the injectors. Is there any good way to test them?
