Default What should a stock 92GT run on the 1/8th???

I have a 92GT 5.0 Mustang that I just bought, I was wondering what it should be running on the 1/8th. Well its not exactly STOCK, but all it has is a MAC Cold Air, Underdrive Pulleys, Air Silencer Removed, and a 160 degree Therm. Last time I took it I ran a 9.8 just wondering if that was good? Im putting 3.73s on soon what should I expect after those are on??

I get 9.4's to 9.6's a lot, but remember mine's lighter than yours.

That 160 thermostat is probably making your car run rich. The computer is set to work at optimum at around 200, so running cooler tells the computer to add more fuel than you need.
I suggest you go to at least a 180.

high 9's is about right for a stock or mostly stock Stang in the 1/8 mile.
I agree with NHdungeon about the thermostat too.
The 3.73 gears decreased my ET in the 1/4 mile about .4-.5 secs.

Yea I didnt think the 160 Thermostat was good but when I went to Advance thats all they had. Im going today to get a 180 though. Also I found out my driver side wheel is the only one spinning so now I gotta get the Posi Traction rebuild kit, I'm sure that was hurting my times too. After the 3.73 gears im going to put on Long Tube Headers, Prochamber, and a Cat-back System, What would you recomend after doing all of that???

Depends on the $$. I wouldn't screw around, go into the engine with some good heads and cam.

A chip on the ECU is relatively cheap and fairly easy to install for the average do it yourselfer. other mods depend on whether you want it to be street only or street/strip and you can do just about anything.
