well im trying 2 make my five 0 fast and i been hearing about gears and stuff soo what gears would b perfect for a stock 5.0??????
i can really use some help on that cuz i dont know much about gears thanx for the hel:)

lol that's as high as you are going to want to go. It will be MUCH quicker on the take off. Consider some sticker tires if you don't already have them.

4.10's auto or manual. Well...Personally, I'd go with 4.30's for a 5-speed.

Shift kits are a must in autos. Not as fun and not worth running with anything less. Of course, you could always do a little better and run a manual valve body.

I have 3.55s and 4th tops out at about 120, so I can't even imagine 4.30s, 410s would be too much too.

OUr car has 3.73s and a 5-spd. Its had a little head work and it will jump and tak ehte f*** off in a hurry. Works really good when You get pissed at someone.

pretty much everyone here will be biased to one or the other... the reason is that's all they know cause they've never had both

i know i haven't but i'd rather stick with the 3.73's with my stick
