Default For the project Which MOTOR? Need some advise.

Well i was looking to start a build up on a 92 notch. I wanted it to be a weekend warrior and track car. Will the 351w drop right in? I was thinking run a high flow carb inestead of a EFI is this a good idea? I was also thinkin bout startin with a used block that has been refurbished, then adding a racing cams, 4v Heads, Forged pistons and rods. What do you guys think about this idea.

Do you guys think it would be more cost effictive to have the original block refurbished and go stroker or up the displacement right away? Keep in mind the budget.
