man what the hell is going on here?..say at the top of 3rd,and you shift into 4th then BAMM! the whole car twists and points towards the other lane.

i didn't see any broken welds,and i have a decent suspension set-up.

the roads i'm driving on are grooved from TRUCKERS![:@][:'(]...my d/r's are slicks now.

why or what could be causing this?

what set-up are you running exactly ?

sounds like either bald tires, bad shocks worn out rear control arm bushings or a ripped up torque box...or you need driving lessons

first drag radials are almost done....strange shocks....control arms might be shot they are old southsides....torque box...explain good possibility can it be fixed?...drive? oh i can drive

are you absolutely sure the problem is in the rear ? or is it a possibility that there's just too much play in front ?

hmm....i have my front set up drag ready,but it shouldn't do this....like i have too much tq for which this car can't handle

im thinking its dogwalking. torque boxes are a good start, they are the mounts that the conrol arms mount to on the car. they are weak and prone to cracking. when you are putting torque on the car the rearend ends up going slighlty diagnal to the car. a badley bent control arm, bad spring, or blown bushings would do the same thing.

Art have you gotten the car off the ground to check for play throughout the entire suspension? That would be the first thing to do.

well since somebody walked off with my alumnium pro lift jack!![:@]...it left me with my goodrich peter jack,and to be honest my fat *** couldn't fit under there...springs are fine fixed shock bushings...so i have my old upper/lowers which i think need to be upgraded anyways....


now torque boxes where should i start how can i fix it?...re weld then get those battle boxes?


put it this way almost everything has been upgraded or has been replaced except the last two items mentioned.
