Default general questions?

The motor in my 92 gt has seen it's better days. I have the opportunity to get a 95 cobra motor to replace it. One of my question is, what needs to be done for it to work in my 92. Are all the connections the same, do I have change computers, will the cobra intake work under my hood? My last question is, what is a good compression. I have seen them range from 135 to 175 compression. Not on this motor but on several different ones. Any help would be great.

175-180 is where you want your compression to be...the 95 cobra motor would work also, you will just need the ecu and wiring harness, and a few other things.

So lets say that I find a motor with 155-160 comp. is that good or not. Would it be better just to get a gt motor or is it still the same. Sorry for all the dumb *** questions but I just got into the muslce car world after beeing into imports.
