I was offered a pro 50 shiftr for $30 other than it possiblty being HOT--
what do you think the catch is--- do they break? hardware missing? how do I tell if it is any good and can I put it in myself?

I am new to MODS I guess it shortens up the shift pattern for better times, it that correct?

haha. just kidding. 30$ for a pro 5.0 is a steal, i wish i found that deal. I have an MGW. the quality of the shifts are just much better. Have fun with it, and who cares if its hot.

My next mod is a shifter so i am guessing that the pro50 and the mgw are the two best ones on the market? How is the triaz i mean tri ax shifter anyone here have it on a fox?

shortens the pattern? yea id say so... the throw from 1st to 2nd and such is alot shorter. also lines up your 2nd to 3rd(havent missed 3rd yet w. mine(pro50))

uh... look at a pic of it on a website (jegs, summit, etc) and i mean there not alot to them, if it looks like the pic then ima assume its all there.

as far as installing it yourself, yes u should be able to , it took me 15-20 min, but i knew what i was doing.

if its broken, i think that will be obv. it sould always stay centered(when not installed), like if you move it it should go back to center... thats the only way i could see it being broken... dude, 30 bucks? buy it, and try it, if it dont work its only $30, and not $200 like they are new

I had a tri ax, and I really liked it on my T-5. RIP my dear. it just couldn't handle the power. I had super short throws with the tri ax, and it had the same spring to automatically load you for 3rd gear. Now I got a tko 600 and it has its own billet shifter from hurst.
