OK i own a 89 mustang gt.Car is stock anywayz voltage guage is goin up an down i figure an im buying a new alternator tommorrow anywayz is the volatage regulator goin badd is is internal or external?

2 questions ok im blowin sum smoke smells like oil one spark plug fouls up once in awhile has oil all over it haven't done a compression test yet what compression should it be at an second im on 2 conclusions to fix these problems either its smoking because of the valve guide seal or ring but need to know what compression i shuld be at?

internal on the altinator and i think comp should be around 130 but not sure anyone help BUMP
