RE: can i beat it...
Power on that car is on the really high rpm's and it is a light car. But the car runs a mid to high 14 so be careful! I would make sure you practice lauching your car without spinning and I wouldnt run more than the quarter mile though.

they're good at making excuses. i beat my friends b16 swapped crx(gutted) first time he was talking about something not working so we went again and i beat him worse. that was when my car was stock. no replacement for displacement!

i raced a yellow type R (yes it was real, it has 5 lugs the GSRs have 4). It was up hill about 15 degree incline and he took me by about a car and a half. What makes this story interesting is I was driving a 1998 nissan frontier 2.4 liter, oh baby it was great. He looked at me like I boofed his mother. It just kept screaming but not going anywhere, the same thing happened to a h22 lude.

Well, whatever works best for you. Ive worked with Holley's alot, but i just never really took a liking to them. I guess different strokes for different folks. Cool, i love the demons, so easy to work on. Very simple carbs imo.
But i still think 770 on a 302 is a little large.
