i have a 95 gt with a 4:10, 2.5 exhaust underdrive pulleys. There is just over 90,000 miles on it. Around 5K rpms, the car losses power. When i put the pedal to the floor, it will shoot up but once it passes 45k, it flutters. I changed the spark plugs and wires, and put some fuel system cleaner in it and it seems to be no help. Any Thoughts?

clean your mass air flow. did wonders for me. my car was taking about 15 minutes to get to 4k then when id floor it it would just shoot up! felt like i had about 150 hp, cleaned the MAF and changed my o2's and car is the best its ever felt!

"flutter" eeh.....hmmm

at first i was gonna say that becouse its a near stock 5.0 it should natrualy run out of "breath" at 4.5k, but when you say flutter....im all shook up.

take it to a machanic, internet diagnosing will probably not solve anything.
