roller rockers?
i was wondering if having 92k miles is too many to install 1.7:1 roller rockers? i mean, have the valve springs seen their better days?
if my springs are going to be too worn, i want to know what would some goods replacement springs be? should i go to ford or aftermarket? do i have to take my heads of to install new springs? do i need any special tools?
if 92k miles isnt too much, how involved is a rocker switch? http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...t=crn-44746-16 are these any good?

RE: roller rockers?
But to get the springs off you have to take the keepers off.
How does the car run?and has it been maintained?
If you take the springs off without taking the heads off your valves will fall into the cylinder.
I have heard of a few people that put air into the sparkplug hole with a fitting and it keeps the valves up into place(as long as you dont knockem around)and it works.
If you take your heads off i would take them to a shop and have them touch them up and do a valve job.
