Default cats off?

any drawbacks to taking the high flow cats off of my bbk x pipe?
will it really make it louder?
it wont cost me anything but the pipe because i can do all the welding myself
i dont have to worry aout emissions either
any advice would help

They're choking your exhaust! Absolutely leave them on though if you live in a place where you have to get smogged.

why did u get a catted pipe? theyr like 350$ compared to a 150$ regular O/R pipe?
