Get the gears... but that will take atleast half of your money. Gears + Installation Kit (100 Bucks) + Gear Oil + Speedo Gear + Installation = About $550.

Than take what you have left and try to do your exhaust with it.

Gears, exhaust, nitrous and intake. Like was said above, you should bump your timing. If you have any left, get yourself some sticky tires.

He only has a thousand dollars. Gears & Nitrous will be a thousand alone... easy. Let alone a manifold and exhaust.

Even if you want to do gears & exhaust you will only be able to get a catback. Im going by a nice stainless steel catback.

If you only have $1000 bucks to blow then I would suggest you go with gears and exhaust. I would love to find somewhere you could get gears installed for $350. I would be guessing something like $500 for an install. The other half of your money would be best spent on exhaust. if you use an o/r pipe, you might be able to get some headers. Hope this helps a little.

$350 is about average from what I have found out. I finally found two places to do them to $300 though. Thats no including oil or anything like that though.

Gears, exhaust, then some type of GOOD F/I would be a good route.
