Default summit engine rebuild

its time for a rebuild. im looking at 2 kits from summit FEM-MHP173-300 and SUM-CSUM306KIT. i cant find any info on these. has anyone ever used these before? im looking for 10-1 or better compression, or is the 9-1 306 ok? with the 306 kit i get rods and crank. with the other kit i only get pistons. with 200,000 miles and very little oil pressure i should get everything. i cant afford a stroker, but i think i will get good results with one of these kits, gt40p heads and intake off an explorer. ill probably put my cam, lifters, pushrods in it since they have low miles on them, maybe a shot of nos. is this a good way to go or is there a better way? at least till i can afford a stroker in a few years?

Sure, there's nothing wrong with rebuilding a motor, do it right and it should run good. Are those forged pistons that you get with the one kit?

Check to make sure this part fits

thats what it says, i didnt make it up. is that the name as 10.1? so the forged is probably the better way to go? someone told me to just go to advance and get a crank, and get new summit rods. im still learning and thought id get some advice from people that know what their talking about. i think it sounded close to being a good/cheap, but reliable rebuild for now just wanted to double check
