Electric fan

RE: Electric fan
my next question is, when you wire it up, how do you wire it to turn at on at X temp, or is it just manual control?
also with the mark8 fan there is a high and low speed, anyone whose done it, were you able to retain that feature?

RE: Electric fan
There are two power wires and one ground coming out of mark8 fan.
I'm assuming one is high spd and the other is low.
Wiring it up this afternoon. Just going to wire in a 30amp relay and have
it on at all times the key is on for now.
www.dccontrol.com sells a nice controller I'm looking at for later.

RE: Electric fan
I just recently wired up a electric fan from a taurus. I used a 30 amp fuse and wired it from the "hi" on the fan to a thermostat. I took the "low" end of the fan and wired it to a light up switch in the car. This gave me piece of mind because I knew if the fan came on automatically because the light on the switch inside the car came on. And if for some reason the light didn't come on and the guage was reading hot then I could just push the switch on and still have the low part of the fan come on. I hope that made sense
