now to some might not know,but when you have worn rings it looks greyish black and stinks....cause oil is not being scraped and fuel is getting mixed with it....when you see those little "econo" cars laying smoke that is why.

here's my list....engine cold pop rad cap off smell rad for gassy petrolium smell...next stick finger in/around filler oil/water don't mix so it foams up and creates a layer on rad.
check dip stick look from chocolate milk
next with cap off start car,and watch for bubbles...trick about this is once the stat opens it creates pressure...it will bubble and almost simultaniusly it will smoke temp will jump 20* quickly..
if nothing shows get a pressure tester from autozone...rent a tool...cause it might be an intake leak<possible...

take a smoke bomb, light it and drop in the radiator, if you see it out the pipes, you need a headgasket.
if you have ever had ur heads off, the bolts are known to come loose
