I dont know I use run chevy's (71 chevelle & 87 s-10 w/V8 swap). Well i got out of car for a while in till this year I got some cash and got a 86 coupe put some $$$$ into it and the rest speeks for it self , Plus I worked at a ford dealership for so and have nothng but ford at my job now as a fleet mechanic I'm so us eto working on them is second nature.

i am in love with them, i saw a few at the local car show. fell in love and started reading mags about them and stuff. found this site. and my dad refuses to let me get one because i am too much like him and back in the day he had a 600hp 77 nova. he was clocked going 167 on a two lane road by the cops (luckly my gramps was his pastor), and he still has the ticket! if you wanna call bs go ahead, i've got my whole family to tell you its true. he was going to keep it but my mom forced him to sell it to marry her. so i guess its just in my blood cause my bro is like that but he got into trucks. my grannie used to do some dirt track racing back in her day and my gramps dad was one of the guys that helped start nascar by running from the cops with the moonshine, but then he died in a crash. so the love for the 5.0 was in my blood, espically the foxes.

Well to start off, I was working 10 hour days 6 days a week during the summer of my freshmen year of highschool, I've always been money hungry and I'm not afraid to work my *** off to get it. Even if it was for 5 bucks an hour all summer, I didn't care. I've also always budgeted my money very well. I've never been in a tight spot (knock on wood) with money before. But anyways during that summer I saved up about 2800 dollars because I wanted a sports car so bad that I could taste it. My dad also wanted me to get a project car that I could drive to school back and forth... Well one day my buddy and I went into town (I live 20 miles from the nearest town lol) so that we could get some oil and an oil filter for his civic. Well right next to the NAPA store there was a used car dealership and there was a car that kinda stood out of the croud. It was a 1991 5.0 convertible, I saw the 5.0 badge on it and it had $2500 written on the windshield. I called my dad that day and told him to stop by after work and take a look at it, that he did, the following weekend I payed 2300 cash for it.... The day that I had seen that car sitting in the lot I fell in love with it, I didn't care if it had a few paint blemishes, it had a v8 and it looked cool. Now I've still got the car but I don't share the same love with it as I did 2-3 years ago and I now have 2 foxes and I love them both (I love the hatch a little more but don't tell anyone [:-])!

i have wanted one bad for about 7 years. I almost bought one when i was a sophomore for like 1500, all that was wrong with it was a clutch cable, needless to say i never fargave myself for not picking it up. I graduated and kinda took over payments of my friends streetbike when he ran into money trouble. I cruised that and my truck to college, and decided to start looking for foxes again. I was looking on ebay one day and this kid had the car for sale about 6 hours north of where i live. I emailed him about a trade, bike for car, and to my suprise he said yes. The next day(easter sunday) I met him half way, exchanged titles and vehicles, and ever since then its been history. Love at first sight and sound for me! BTW my dad hates it, and thinks it is a waste of money

and he gave me the mustang but now my driving record isn't really all that good so yea i guess now he wishes he never did that
