New tire/wheel size help

RE: New tire/wheel size help
Reason I ask is that I'm updating again. Just got the AR Vintage Ansen Sprint 17x7 wheels and Sumitomo HTR+ 225/50 tires (still have 10 hole with BFG's). Wasn't happy with the fit of the new ones after my son and I replaced the springs, struts, ball joints, end links, tie rod ends, p/s rack, lines and pump.
They stick out a little farther than I expected. Just found out they have a 0 offset and I don't think the plastic center caps are going to fit. Afraid to try, because I may just send it all back.
Been thinking about the Black Machined 4 Lug Shelby GT500 Wheel 17x9 with 245/45. Will these fit?
Also, thinking about a set of reproduction 10 holes, stock look.

RE: New tire/wheel size help
should be able to fit 245/45/17s on there no prob. maybe have to drop down to a 235/50/17, or 235/45/17s,cant remember what size they are. . where did you see the 4 lug shelby wheels at? if you go with 15s, 255/60 or maybe 275/50 15s in back and 225/60 up front.

What about wheel size?
American Muscle, $130. Called them and they said they should fit with no rubbing or mods necessary (like removing the quads, etc.). I'm a little skeptical, because of what I just got from tire rack, my uneducated calculations say they will stick out like the AR's. Also, not too sure how they will look, still have old calipers and such.
I do like the AR's but have to finish the rest of the work we started and then put them on to get a better look. I was surprised that the new ones are a little taller as well. I used an online tire and wheel calculator and they are very close in size. Wanted that to keep the speedometer fairly accurate.

I had 17x9s on there. My 15" Cragers are 8" wide. I have 275/50/15, but no lowering springs. they rub if I take a corner too hard with weight in the back seat. or if I take it too hard or hit bumps going moderately fast
