Default Quick question about TB.

I need a 70mm throttle body to fit a trickflow street intake, right ? just tryin to make sure before i order a TB. Thanks

I talked to the guy who sells those intakes, he emailed me back, and it is 70mm TB. Payin 395 shipped for that trickflow street intake. Not a bad deal.

You can buy that street heat intake brand new from summit also for that price.

Anyways, for your question, the stock t-body will be just fine for it, basically, you can have smaller than 70mm but not bigger. If you have bigger, air is going to catch on the lil lip and cause turbulance and it'll mess with your flow and hurt performance. So basically, you can get the t-body later if you don't have the money now, either way you'll be fine.

+1 I hope the manfiold is brand new because you can get them online for like $405 shipped. Also, a 70mm throttle body will be fine and you do not need a different throttle body just for the street heat manifold, anyone will fit fine. A 65mm or 70mm would be OK for your setup. What are your other mods? A 65mm might be a little big better for you if you are just running minor bolt ons.

I'll prolly buy another in a month or so, if i can get away with using my stock one for now.

trickflow states in the instructions that you need an adapter plate if using the stock throttle body.... is this true? if not im gonna go slap my old one on until i get my new one!

i know for the sn95 the adaptor is just the elbow between the intake and the TB

Yeah, thats what sucks about the SN95 intakes, you gotta buy that damn elbow, its an extra 95 $.

also you can open the hole up to use a 75mm T/B dremels are your friend
