Ok here is the deal i was offered a really good deal on a 96 351W Roller motor complete.The motor made stock 210hp and 320Tq .Its from a 96 F-350 truck. My dilema is i still have those GT-40P heads and a E-303 cam. I know they will fit and i have read what i need to do a swap into my 88LX.But here is the other problem What motor will make more Hp with these mods on both 302/351W? Will my T5 work with a 351? I know more Cubes makes more HP but in this case same mods done to each motor what one will beifet the most?The engine is 200 bucks and needs a rebuild.Here is the list of items gonna be on either engine.GT40P heads,Upper Typhoon Intake,70 TB,73MM,E-303 cam and im gonna have the heads milled .010 for better compression. I could use a Eldelbrok carb and get a new intake. Well any help with this would be great thanks alot. Oh i dont wanna Stroke yet or bore unless needed. [&:]

I'd go with the 351 roller motor but you might need to get a cowl hood for sufficient clearance as the 351 is a taller motor than the 302. Overall, the 351 is a stronger block and will definitely put out more HP and torque if you choose the right pieces to build it with.

Well the parts im gonna use is the ones listed above.Was thinking on using a carberation though! But same mods on 351 should make more HP right?

If that guy is selling you a 351 for 200 bucks I would be careful, rebuild or not that is a fishy price. I think if you really want a 351 just buy a bare block and swap out all your compatible 302 peices into it, less risky. Just a suggestion

Nope they have lots of 351W its a truck yard. They arent hiding anything! even if it is bad i could sale all the parts off it on E-bay LOL! And make my 200 bucks back.
