yea sorry to say i dont like your chances if they have something done. Even something as stupid as a boost controller and they will walk on some cars. Thats their advantage, plus those motors can handle alot of HP. Not to mention AWD

Sorry, I didnt read your mods from before. If you go up against a stocker you will tear him up but if he has a decent amount of work done and he knows how to launch it I would be careful, those things can be very deadly if driven by the right driver.

With the mods you have you should be able to beat a stock one. Stock evos and STIs run mid to low 13s. Its pretty much playing "catch up" with them. If you dont see yourself pulling after they launch then ur done.

there are several advantages these cars have in stock form

1. All wheel drive = ALL TRACTION

2. A tranny that will take anything you can throw at it up to 600 hp.

3. A turbocharger, when even slight modded, can take a full second off the ET.

4. Heavy Duty Components througout the suspension, and drivetrain areana.

5. Race Inspired Brake and Steering System.

6. Little weight

we have none of the above, so mods will be needed, but you are competing against a strong FOUNDATION.

i raced one that looked like it was slightly modded on the freeway and it just barely pulled away from me. and my car doesn't have much done to it.

Its off the line performance that they have that you need to worry about.

Ive eaten a few up, but they were lightly modified/stock cars. Even with them launching i caught up very quickly after the initial launch. Those launches are killer though, pull a good 3 cars on me, but they are quickly made up with some good driving and a good cam and a set of heads.

well just let them throw the big turbo's on their cars and build yours n/a then throw your money into suspension and take them on a twisty road. =P they will hate themselves for throwing a big turbo on their car.
