i currently cave a 95 3.8L
1. i have a 5.0L would i be able to use the same computer and main wireing harness or do i have to get a completely new harness?
2. is the frame the same on a 99-04 as a 94-98?

1. You would need a new ECU, and also the 5.0L underhood wiring harness.
2. Im almost positive that they are.

You'll also need to upgrade your rear end to an 8.8", get new shocks and struts for a V8, new ecu, new wiring harnesses, and about a billion other little small things.

sell the 6er and just buy the v8 or convert the 6 to a carbed v8

my mechanic told me that the v6 and the v8 rear end are the same

Your referring to the 7.5' I thought that only used them in the 4cyl's and than when they started making the 6cyl's they just started using the 8.8's for everything... I could be wrong though [&:]

Hmm... Now i wanna know. My friend was talkin bout converting to 3.8 to 5.0, its a 95, he said he'd have to do a rearend too. But then again, he doesnt know all that much. I'ma research that in a bit.
