hey guys, what is the most you would pay for a set of Black tweed seats in mint condition? I just bought some off a guy on Ebay. I wasn't ready to buy seats yet but kinda came across them so I figured I would get them while i could find them. I have a complete black interior now other than a rug and center console, but I can find those easily later on when my car is almost done. Anyways, I paid $425 shipped, do you think i got ripped off? It was kinda an impulse buy.

Wow, that seems like alot but I guess they are kind of expensive. You could of just got your old seats reupolstered for that price......

Are they GT or LX seats?

umm im not sure, I think GT seats. I know they came out of a 93 Mustang. The guy said they look like they came from a 20-30K mile car. They really came from a 70K mile car though. That price i paid also includes shipping and that is for the front and back seats. I hope they are as mint as this guy says they are because that is a good amount of money to spend on them.

wow.... thats alot i'm getting my whiote leather seats resone for $200 bucks ea.... and i would imagine white leathe is a bit more expensive than black tweed esp used.... have to see pics to tell for sure though

Yea, thats a bit pricey. I know Stevens91GT got his seats completely reupholstered for around 500$, and thats with leather.

For all the seats, shipped with tracks..maybe 50 bucks too high...look nice tho, and you can sell your old stuff and maybe get some cash back.

That's not too bad. You MIGHT have found a better deal, but you never know. Getting a set in great shape is worth it sometimes......
