RE: tire size ?
Listen, Dimebag. I know this tire stuff can be confusing, but you need to take some time and read this particular post
A 225/60/15 tire is your stock size.
it has a section width of 225mm. this has nothing to do with the size of the rim, or the height of the tire.... simply how wide it is.
the 60 tells you the height of the tire... it means 60% of the width of the tire so multiply 225 by 60. (225x60=135)
your tires have a sidewall height of 135mm
the 15 is obviously the rim size
now. 135mm+135mm = 270mm
270mm x .0393701 = 10.62
the .0393701 is the conversion factor from MM to Inches
so the 10.62 is the height of both of your sidewalls above and below the rim
add 15 for the rim size, 10.62 + 15 = 25.6"
your tire has a total height of 25.6"

RE: tire size ?
ok heres a diff question... the rims i got for DRs are drilled and have the 8 bolts all around it to hold a tube from spining on the rim, and also came w. a set of tubes, should i run tubes w. the MTs or BFGs or go w. out tubes?

RE: tire size ?
there stock turbines that the guy used to use for DRs he said (hes got an 89 stang runnin low 12s, so i figured id trust what he had to say), and he gave me tubes w. them and they are already drilled and have screws in them...

RE: tire size ?
Tubes are primarily used for tires like the MT ET Drags. If you want to go that route, get some 26*8.5 ET Drags and launch it off the limiter. Just be ready to replace some axles and torque boxes.
