9 sec. 5.0 w/o any TC or NOS
I know of a guy who runs 9 sec. regularly without any turbos or NOS. But I have no clue how much all this must cost, he said he did it under $6000.00 with used parts, heads, tranny, suspension. Hmm, I like the idea, engine to engine.

i saw an 85 hatch with a 408 stroker run a 9.3 with no s/c t/c or nos had over 700hp it was an all alluminum block the car was crazy i have a video of it going down the track on my phone and i stopped and talked to the guy he was cool as hell and it was street legal

No ****, I like the idea but I'm sure it a lot more work than I can imagine. This guy was cool as hell too, I guess him and his buddies only race engine to engine. I'd like to do something like that, but he was talking about the whole car, suspension, tires, I mean he was going off on a big list of things you gotta' modify to run those times... I'm going to look into it, hell maybe I just found something to spend my tax money on!
