what stall 'vertor are you looking to use......as far as cam and this being a 905 race car then you want a tight c/l in the 106-108 range..those cams you mention are somewhat mild cam.. what pistions are being used?....what are head specs? what is block decked at?

also as i said the converter will depend on what cam i get, probly in the 3-3500 range i would assume.

tfs stage two cam will kill your bottom end torque since you have stock bore, stroke. Mine is nothing like it was before the cam. I love the lope, and up top, the car is a beast!! you might wanna stick with a bit smaller like a E303. or, you could put the bigger one in, but I'd reccommend a 3000 stall for your auto.

with the twisted wedge heads fox lake sais the tfs stage 2 will work.
something about the chamber on the twisted wedge allows for use of bigger cams on stock reliefs.

yes on '86 and newer, the stock '85 had no reliefs..so this needs to be checked

86 was the efi year with the e6's, 85 was the carb car with same bottom end as 87-92 but with e5 heads, same as e7 just smaller water passages and bigger chambers. i have had the heads off the car, it has reliefs.
