Default glasspacks vs> flowmaster

right now i have a bbk offroad h pipe with glasspacks dumped right before the rear. it sounds pretty nasty but ive heard single chamber flowmasters before and they seem to be a bit louder then my glasspacks....are the single chamber flows suppose to be louder thinking about switching?

I had glasspaks on my 82 GT and I don't see how a chambered muffler could be louder than that.

well first I'll be the one to tell you your dumb as hell for using dumps and if any kids ride in the car you should have your D/L taken from you
anywayz the glass packs sound sweet for about a month or 2 tell the fiberglass burns up as they will get louder and louder....flows on the other hand won't get any louder for a year of to as the metel weaken inside the muffler

Glasspacks eat performance. Do your car a favor and get some flows. Would you want to take a dump through a straw?

so why is he dumb as hell for having dumps they sound good and it looks a lot better than having holes through your bumper. So why should he have his D/L taken away from him

well i know a couple people with them and they dont have problems. But when mine were straight back with no holes in the bumper gas fumes got in then. So we had to cut holes in the bumper and now it looks gay so id rather have dumps

weatherstrip anyone?? dude, dumps aren't that bad. ever had 'em? this is my second 5.0 with dumps and the only time i had a problem with carbon monoxide was when i had bad weatherstripping.(changed it fast, trust me) i've driven the car all over the place. including long trips and never had a problem with light-headedness or headaches or any of the common carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms. calling the guy dumb as hell isn't exactly the best way to make friends now is it? lets play nice.
