Default ? for everyone running w. no cats...

does putting in an off road h or x pipe make your check engine light stay on? if it does what can i do to not have that happen?

I haven't had any trouble. I thinks it's mostly with the 96 and newer.

ur check engine light is a dummy light that ford put in the car to just put it in there. it serves no purpse. the only time it served a purpose is 89 and up mass air cars. I would take out the bulb for the light and not worry about it. My check engine light never came on an my 87 when I put my o/r H on the car. but every car is a little different

ok just checking, i just read in another post that they said it would happen. what would it effect the 02 sensors? would that change how it ran or anything?<becuase of the sensors reading diff and still thinking there cats?

There are no secondary o2 sensors so the check engine light will not come on because of there being no cats.
