either your battery is dead, and or your starter is stuck, if your batt is dead boost it or charge it full before you start it again. if your starter is stuck hit it with a hammer while someone cracks it.

I used to have to hit my starter with a hammer on my old Bronco when it would stick when the battery was near dead. A moment of silence for the 300 str8 6

I had the same problem about a month ago. New starter and solenoid and it worked fine. If its an auto make sure itsall the way in Park. One of my friends had it only halfway in and bought a new battery for no reason...i laughed at him a lot...

sounds like a starter solenoid problem. jump the starter solenoid on the firewall! If it cranks over then, then you need a solenoid.
