i'll do all that stuff in the next year or so, after i run with the stock 351w for a while i'll pull it out and mod it up , then hopefully get a mid 11 out of it

The HP rating for your 351W will also vary due to the year and version (2V, 4V). There's a difference in the compression ratios.

how much $$$ do u think is a good price for a used stock 351w?

I'd say it all depends on the mileage and which year. If you're looking for a very typical 351W (mid/late 70s), I wouldn't pay anymore than $500.00 bucks even if it has been rebuilt.
