I have seen some people have a cooling problem because the water pump is spinning slower at idle, but it's not very common. You will need an impact gun to get the pulley off the alternator. If you don't have access to one just take the alternator to a local shop and I'm sure they will change it.

i wouldnt even bother. you could put that money towards something better. if you have to buy them, dont put the alt. underdrive on. you can have charging issues and since the alt isnt that hard to turn in the first place, putting on the UD is pointless

I just put pulleys on a few days ago, I just left the alt. off. It's almost the same size anyway. Very easy to do, of course i have a electric fan so theres more room in front of the engine for me.

+ a million... dont bother unless you plan on modding everything else up to them, you'll be better off saving for a h/c/i combo or a full exhaust or something else....
