Default I think I have a vacuum leak

Anyone know what tha vacuum is supposed to be for the 5.0s? All of a sudden my car hesitates when starting out and sometimes even stalls. Also, the vacuum gauge reads 10-15 when at idle in park. I'm pretty sure this may be a bit low, but wanted to know what the levels are supposed to be.

Any chance the culprit is the PCV valve? Ever since I replaced the stock one, it keeps popping out. And now the grommit pops out with it. I know I need to replace the grommit now, but I was wondering if that would cause a vac leak or would cause the idle problems or the hesitation.

Just tossed in a grommit and cleaned everything out. Now lets see if this works. Not sure if it was causing my vac leak though.

Default RE: I think I have a vacuum leak

Once everything was installed, I took her out for a quick spin on the highway. Opened her up and got to about 8 PSI of boost before I backed off. When I got back I checked the PCV and it seems that it held in place. It's also not hesitating anymore and not stalling out. Guess that was the problem. Vacuum still seems to be at 15, but I guess that would be normal, and at least it's only dropping to 10 when I throttle up a little. Before it was dropping to 5 and sometiems close to 0 even though i wasn't at WOT and therefore shouldn't be under boost.

Anyway, it seems that the problem was solved. Just figured I'd toss this added info up there incase anyone has a similar problem searches the forums in the future.
