gear install 3.73

What would it take to install the gears myself? Is it possible or...?

if you don't know what your doing then take it to a shop and get it done right.

I learned myself the other day in school, if you have the right tools and shims its not really that hard

Go to google and search for '8.8 rebuild" and the first site that comes up is real informative.

unless you know what you are doing, i would have it done at a ring & pinion shop

yeeeeeeeea... After checking out that website I think i will let the pros do it. I dont want to just take it to some old mechanic shop though. I live in San Diego. Anybody know any good places around the area?

8.8 gear install I'm going to attempt a total rebuild when I install my gears.From what I hear don't attempt it if you can't afford for your car to be down a couple days.Take your time and use the right tools and it's possible.
