Seems reasonably prices, and its larger than stock.

RE: Fuel pump question

Cant go wrong w/ 190+ the excess fuel just dumps back into the return line.

I have 155 BBK. But that doesnt really matter cuz they dont actually make it, so the brand doesnt matter much.

Walbro is a big supplier. My BBk is actually walbro, they just send it in BBK packaging. Buy whatever brand is cheapest

I have a walbro 155lph. Only problem I have is that my A/f shifts a lot leaner now. OEM computer compensating. It makes me a little bit nervous to gun it. But im hoping the computer will learn and not go as lean as much. I have been babying it around a lot more.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you have sex with the cheapest condom? Probably not.

Get a Walbro. 95 5.0 Are you planning on modding your car at anymore? Nitrous, SC, TC....hell even a good HCI kit will call for more fuel.

Spend the $125 and get a Walbro 255lph in tank pump. You will have peace of mind...that your fuel pump wont fall behind and make you lean. Lean is bad.

Dude im not telling him to get a stock size fuel pump.. IM saying that the fuel pumps that most people sell like BBK etc.. are WALBRO .. Get the one thats selling for the least for your specified size

RE: Fuel pump question

Wouldn't you want to upgrade you fuel lines with a 255? Thats a lot of pressure.

I am not ripping on you personally. I understand what you are saying. If you tell someone to get the cheapest for there app then they will. Most of the time they say I am doing this and do it. Then they run out of fuel because they bought a fuel pump for that upgrade. Then they add something and run out of fuel.

I am saying get the big one, and be done with it.

The stock fuel lines, rails, and injectors can take it.

RE: Fuel pump question

Later on down the road I would love to SC it or tubo, but with my kindof money i'll prolly end up sprayin it. The car still needs to be finished, i just wanted to replace the fuel pump with the rest of the mods that are goin on right now ( in sig. ) and i have to drain that fuel cuz i let it sit there for a year with no stabilizer, and i want to do things right. Thanks for all the replies guys, I appreciate it.

RE: Fuel pump question

You should really decide right now if you are going to spray it or turbo/SC it, since you're still building it, because you want to make sure your compression ratio is right for whichever power adder you're going to use.

RE: Fuel pump question

Well its pretty much already together, just the rockers need adjusted and the intake goes on, and from there just lil stuff. I think P heads make compression a bit higher over stock, i'm not too sure of the #'s tho. I'll prolly end up sprayin it cuz its alot cheaper, but when the time comes, i'll research it more. But i still dont even know if i'll do that, i've heard good things and i've heard bad things.
