well right now my a/c is not hooked up. Do you think i should have it fixed or just do an a/c elimination kit. What are the benifits of taking off the a/c?

If you live in a mild climate....get rid of it. It takes about 25 lbs off the front of the car and it will give a couple of horses.

Fix it. But I live in Houston Texas....where you can wear shorts in December. Just imagine the times we have 100+ degree weather....

To me my AC is much more important than a few horses.

Plus the AC system in 5.0s are so easy to work on. You should have it fixed in your car in no time.

lol....I do. But it gets so humid and hot here that when I do that it is just like sticking a fan in front of an oven and blowing the air onto you. Yes it feels better than no air movement but who likes hot air blown in their face.

If I lived where it was 60-80 degrees most of the year....hell I would get ride of my ac too.

Plus black leather seats get very hot...that is where the most use comes out of the ac.
