Default strange miss...

i've been trying to find this miss since i bought the car a month and a half ago to no avail. now i have a massive headache. it misses at idle, and while cruising any speed, highway, in town, but doesn't seem to under full throttle. it has a edelbrock intake, and carb. cam for a 95 cobra 351. new lifters, all new plug wires, plugs cap and rotor. other than that it is all stock except exhaust. i pulled plug wires off to try to find the miss and got very angry when i had 4 wires off all at once and idle didn't change. then did a compression test and all cylinders are around the same. i'm new to fords for the most part but not new to engines. this one has me very stumped. any help anybody can shoot my way is greatly appreciated.

Have you determined what cylinders it's on?

spark plug gap check that carefully,

clean the carb out, use carb spray while reving here up.

check your timing as well, but im betting on a carb/ignition issue

I dont know about your perticular year but i have a 94 and was having a similar problem. I replaced sparkplugs wires and still had the same problem. I then took the tps sensor and cleaned it and cleaned the mass air flow sensor. It stilll hesitates in the morning but am having a shop dyno tune it.... they said that the car is running very lean and we are trying a new mass air flow sensor... more to come...

Id double check to see what that cam really is. No '95 Cobra's came with a 351.
