Do you think it's more wise for me to put $$$ in to this gt or keep my 85.5 Porsche 944 and put money into that instead?

Eventually, yes but not right now. There are already classic GT's out there. I think classic is 20 years right? I have a 88 that came off the line in 1987 so thats basically 20 years old right there! People junk 5.0's like theres no tomorrow though so ONE DAY they will be worth money, maybe not for another 15 years but eventually lol

AOD'S are ok if you put 3:73 gears and a shift kit in them otherwise they are kind of pokey

I would go with 4.10's in an auto, not 3.73's

Once you put a shift kit in and a stall converter, you'd really wonder why you'd want a stick. The only reason I'm going stick is because its much cheaper, automatics are not cheap to replace and in stock for the t5 and aod don't hold up when launched on slicks.

Iv heard nothing but bad things about the t-5's. There was a thread a few days about how people have been through so many of them. With an auto you wont be tempted to powershift or nething.
