yep. they are easier to drive in the snow for sure.
Seriously...who drives a 5.0 in the snow???

And yes Autos are reliable and fun to drive, i personally dont veleive a T5 vs. an AOD will affect resale value, its all in the eye of the buyer, but check out lentechautomatics.com for some serious valve bodies for the AOD

and FRPP for gears, can be had at summitt racing, 3.73's are a good gear ratio for both highway and street use, installing requires specialty tools: unless you have bearing pullers, bearing press, backlash guage, calipers, "lb torque wrench, ft. lb torque wrench, amongst others i would take it somewhere....jmo

I've got a custom built 3000 rpm stall and 3.90s, it's a great combo for a street/strip car. Mine gets driven to work and school about 2-3 out of 7 days a week.

Do you think it's more wise for me to put $$$ in to this gt or keep my 85.5 Porsche 944 and put money into that instead?
Keep the 944 stock. Those aren't bad cars. And keep the porsche, it will raise in value in no time.
There are fewer 944's than fox body's....

^^ Just be careful... I almost lost it in the rain last night. It was my fault though since I was trying to see how hard I could floor it without spinning tires.... it was like 2 in the morning and noone on the road though lol
