And yes Autos are reliable and fun to drive, i personally dont veleive a T5 vs. an AOD will affect resale value, its all in the eye of the buyer, but check out lentechautomatics.com for some serious valve bodies for the AOD

ive gopt a question, ive got an 87 5.0, aod, whats a good brand shift kit, and stall converter??? im not a master mechanic, but i know what im doin.. how hard to install?? 4:10's vs. 3:73's?? anything will help..

and FRPP for gears, can be had at summitt racing, 3.73's are a good gear ratio for both highway and street use, installing requires specialty tools: unless you have bearing pullers, bearing press, backlash guage, calipers, "lb torque wrench, ft. lb torque wrench, amongst others i would take it somewhere....jmo

I have to drive mine in the winter lol... im only almost 17 (currently w/o a job) going to school and its my only car lol but it's so screwed right now one more winter isnt gonna hurt it horribly.

^^ Just be careful... I almost lost it in the rain last night. It was my fault though since I was trying to see how hard I could floor it without spinning tires.... it was like 2 in the morning and noone on the road though lol
