best way is to take it in for a custom chip and have them turn EGR off in the computer.

you could probably just order and off the shelf mail order chip with the EGR turned off too.

http://www.v8mustang.com/products.php

"Custom Revolution chip w/ 1 program $300"

There is a function in the EEC control system to turn the EGR system off
and clear any CEL related to it.

or you could buy Tweecer and turn it off your self, and be set for other
changes later on.

Buy or make your own resistors for the EVP sensor, the EEC-IV will delete/bypass the EGR function automatically every time an EGR code is logged in the ECM....no need to buy a tuned chip for that. The resistors from forfuelinjection.com will cause a code 33 to be registered, the EEC-IV will automatically bypass/delete the EGR function, but the CEL indicator will not light up. Hope this helps.

You could also go to the nearest RadioShack or electronic components store and build your own resistors "triangle"...here are the specs....
