Default Heater core access pannel?

Is there a heater core access pannel on foxes, or do you have to remove the dash...how do you do it?

on 79-86 w/o AC it can be accessed though the glove compartment, 87-93 require the dash to be removed...

You need to remove the dash... once you do that there is a big black box that runs though basically the whole dash and its inside of there. I call it the blower box but Im not sure of the exact name.

plan on spending the day to pull and replace, its very time consuming because of all the dash fasteners...

You even have to take the steering column loose and drop it! It sucks! to say the least

Eat a big breakfast, buy a 30 pack, have a buddy or two come over, put the football game on or powerblock TV in the garage, and start pulling, thats the least painful way to do it imo....

Remove the dash, lower the column (I think it's easier, if you can even say easy and heater core in the same sentence.)
I have done five, expect this to take a good part of your day if it's your first time.
