really dumb GAUGE question
1st off i'm probably retarded or some thing[8D] but......
k i have all of the standard gauges in my dash already(speed, rpm, temp, oil, fuel, battary, etc)
i'm going to be running a mostly stock *cough, cough* 351w, would i need any aftermarket gauges like oil pressure or anything else for my drag/street car?
cuz i want to get one of these gauge/vent pods!!

after market gauges are generally more accurate... and are you sure all your factory gauges will work after you drop your 351 into the car? I dunno... just a thought...

RE: really dumb GAUGE question
well, fuel pressure would tell you how much fuel your motor is getting, so you dont lean out your motor, and oil pressure would make sure you dont blow it the hell up due to lack of lubrication. If you wanna get crazy you could also get egt to see how your motor is doing. It depends on how much youre going to tune at the end, and how much you want to learn about the whole process. I have friends who can tell how well mapped out their injector map is just based on their O2 readings.
