Default Cold air intake vs Ram air

I am wondering if it would be a good ideal to get a cold air intake. I have a fiberglass hood right now with functional ram but have the bottom of the hood taped up and have the airbox removed right now with just a K&N cone filter on the stock intake. Would a fenderwell cold air intake be better then ram air. And what would be the best mods for 700-900$. I only have full exhaust with headers, x pipe and magnaflows and 3.55 gear's performance wise. Thanks in advance!

YOu can get some good heads for 900 $, but with those you'd also want supporting mods like cam and intake.
