My input:
You should build a pole barn to store your old parts in.
E7s are not junk.
My machinist gave me 2 pairs of them. After a bit of port work they have proven to be a nice head - up to about 5200 rpm.
They are ideal for building a reliable low buck beater engine for any vehicle.

Man i would i love to have my own pole barn.. But yea, i was thinkin about cleanin em up and porting them myself so i can learn to, and if i mess up, who cares. I hear they are kindof close to gt40's when you port them. I'll ponder on what to do with them, i know i wouldnt get that much out of them, so it wouldnt be too big of a gain if i did sell them.

Why would you waste your time with stockers when you can get a set off of an explorer and port them..... those are still very low budget heads.

Why?
Because my machinist gave me E7TE heads. He did not give me Explorer heads.
