How much torque do you need to pop a wheelie on a hatch? Not nessissarly TQ, but what does it take to do that.

theres alot more variables than just torque. its more of a function of the suspension. with alot of suspension work a nearly stock car can get the wheels up. it also depends alot on tires. once i saw a guy w/ a pi gt with all suspension work, didnt touch the motor, stock longblock, that pulled a small wheelie. basicly there are ALOT more variables than torque.

stock gt and a pair of slicks...And a sticky surface.Your coming off the ground if..you dont break anything , say a nice 4500rpm launch should do it.

I got my aode to comeo off the ground going down hill when the motor was kinda stock but a worked trans.

Easily......just as i would start rolling down the hill I would gun it and she would come up slowly all thru 1st gear till I let off it.But I never went over a 1ft. Even when just the suspension is extending ,it feels like the wheels are off the ground,But when you start to see no road....IT GETS KINDA SPOOKY.

plus,AT THE TIME I didnt wanna screw my frame up cause it wasnt set up for this yet

a really good set of slicks, a lot of suspension to hook upwards rather than outwards, and a really strong driveshaft and rearend!
