Which Blaster coil would be good for my amount of mods from MSD and also is the cap and rotor from MSD on summit the Ford V8 HEI one, meaning is that the correct one?

i have a blaster 2. bought it cause its 50 state legal.

according to my 1996 MSD catalog, both coils have the same number of windings and put out the same voltage but the Blaster 3 has a taller center tower that helps eliminate the high voltage from leaking out to the primary wiring connections on the coil body and it has a more secure coil wire connection set-up. both show they are 50 state legal too.
PS to OB, thanks for the compliment but it really helps to read the technical literature from catalogs and manuals when you can get your hands on them.

You'll be fine with a Blaster 2 coil. I have one on my 400+ HP Pontiac.
