Default Motor Swap

Ok ive read pretty much everything there is to read about swaps and such, but I have a few questions...
Im getting a 5.0 and a auto transmission out of a 88GT for 175$ (running) and Ill be dropping it into my 87, I know i need all the little parts like the diff, fuel pump and all that other crap, but do i need a new tranny crossmember? for the 5.0 AOD or is the 4cyl the same? Do I need a new driveshaft for the 5.0 AOD? ( i dont think so but i want to confirm)

Where can i get the harness for the motor and do i need a new computer? Probably right? and Where can i get cheap motor mounts or even oem? Im guessing I can get most of it from a junkyard?

Thanks alot, any insight would be greatly Appreciated Project 5.0 is about to get going Im too damn happy Can you say sleeper?

Default RE: Motor Swap

Yea, you can get 90% of that stuff at a junkyard but I would recommend buying NEW motor mounts. Go with a nice set of Energy Suspension. Also, Im not 100% sure but I think your MIGHT need a new driveshaft. As far as the wiring and computer goes you will need to go new. Well, different not new. You can either get one from a parted out car on the forums, ebay or check junkyards. I sold my computer and harness for $125.
