RE: Sad sad day for the 5.0
Every body thinks their abilities are actually better than they are. I just hope you have learned not drive to the limits of your & the cars abilities. Your lucky you or the people who were in the other car wernt killed. this is why it cost more for a 17 yr old than a 30 year old. Glad your ok. Gl.

best bet it to buy the car make and get a donor to fix it, or buy it back and part every thing out, atleast that way you can get some of your money back out of it, to repair that will be costly mines costing me almost 5 k

rim, tire, spindle, subframe, shock, spring, control arms, fender inner, fender outer, door shell, unibody straightening, front clip, radiator, alot of r & r welding etc, dont have that fixed. It will never ride the same.
yeah we just did one of them in the body shop , a 2month job, thats a $6,000 repair bill. have em cut you a check for what its worth, go get a cobra or something with more power.
Part it out, take the metal to recycling yard, no gas tank, and you and the driver split the profits and fill your gas tanks up.
With your wheel hoping, like you said, I bet the bastrds set you up by overinflating your low profile tires, check your tire pressure.

Ouch... It's one thing when a stang gets taken out for good, it's another when a stang driver gets taken out for good. You can replace it, it can't replace you. Good to hear that you're ok.
If I were you I'd buy it back, then buy a v6 vert & swap the parts.
