Default RE: Need more air?

I haven't checked for codes but the EGR is connected and the check engine light has only came on one time for about a half second at WOT. also when sitting in park you can punch it and it revs up great. with the 70mm tb I could only give 1/3 throttle with the stock tb I can go 1/2 way before it falls on its face. it doesn't matter if you accelerate slow or punch it on the road, it always acts the same. checked for vaccum leaks, timing, new fuel filter and tune, the engine only has about 200 miles on it. i'm not sure what to do next. Should I disconnect the egr and where does the vaccum line for the fuel press. regulator hook up? Its hooked to a tree from the intake right now that also goes to the brake booster and a plastic line that goes over to the block of 4 over by the fenderwell.

Please help...

tps is set and were checking and found the vac. line to the egr was broke, fixed it and same issue. Should that vac. line draw at idle or WOT or when? right now it won't draw at any throttle. none of the other lines on that square block of lines draw any vaccuum.

You can get engine diagnostic codes without seeing the CEL come on.

Pull your codes, and see what the computer says.

Is it just falling on it's face or does the ignition seem to break down? Could be a fuel issue, has the filter been changed?

The egr system will not cause what you're having.

new fuel filter 4 days ago. the injectors layed around for about 2 years before we put new o-rings on them and used them. they seem fine. could we have an ignition breakdown whether warmed up or not? wouldn't it have the same issues when parked and reving it up? Oh, it power brakes very easy but won't go past 2000rpms. and on the highway will only go to about 80mph before it starts sputtering.

Have you checked the fuel pressure? How old are the tune up parts?

Codes???

Some things that will cause cutting out problems will show with codes, others won't.

You may get lucky and get a code.
